West Indies Tour Match on 13 June 2012.
Chasing the massive West Indians total, Middlesex had slumped to 38-4 in the twelfth over. Adam Rossington joined Dawid Malan and the pair took the hosts to 63-4 before Malan (21) top-edged a pull-shot and the ball ballooned in the air for keeper Ramdin to take the catch. Middlesex lost two wickets in 'mystery spinner' Sunil Narine's second over, a run out being the first when Josh Davey pushed the ball towards mid-wicket and called for a single; Rossington (17) started the run late and was beaten by Pollard's throw. When Tim Murtagh was caught at the wicket for a duck, two balls later, Middlesex were 67-7.
Josh Davey and Tom Smith added forty runs for the eighth wicket before Chris Gayle wrapped things up when he bowled Smith for sixteen and trapped Anthony Ireland LBW for a duck as Middlesex were 107 all out.
Earlier in the day, Chris Gayle, on his return to the West Indies team scored a typically belligerent innings of 34 off 29 balls before he was caught at deep mid-wicket by Josh Davey off Anthony Ireland's bowling as the visitors reached 55-1 in the tenth over. When Paul Stirling had Lendil Simmons stumped by Adam Rossington for 23, the West Indians were 67-2 in the 15th over.
Dwayne Smith joined Darren Bravo and dominated a third wicket partnership of 156 before he was disappointed when he was caught on the backward point boundary by Paul Stirling, off Tim Murtagh's bowling for 96 (off 81 balls, 2 sixes & 10 fours).
Dwayne Bravo, who had struggled with his timing earlier in his innings, reached his hundred in the final over of the innings and rounded it off by hitting the last two balls of the Davey's over for sixes over wide long-on. He finished on 112 not out (off 112 balls, 2 sixes & 7 fours) with Dwayne Bravo hitting three sixes in an innings of 40 not out from just 21 balls. The West Indians scored 105 runs off the last ten overs of their innings and totalled 335-4 from their 50 overs.
