2nd XI T20: Middlesex v Essex

The Middlesex 2s have had a second T20 win today, beating Essex in the 2nd match by 6 wickets with one over to spare. Ravi Patel was the pick of the bowlers with 2-16 off four overs as Essex reached 141-5. In reply, Max Holden top scored with 50 and James Fuller chipped in with 36. Well done - 2 out of 2 in the first T20 matches!

In the second T20 match at Radlett today, Essex 2s have won the toss again but this time have elected to bat first. The only change to the Middlesex side is that Max Holden has come in for centurion Nick Gubbins.

The Middlesex 2s have won the first T20 match against Essex 2s this morning by 30 runs, thanks in the most part to a superb 110 from Nick Gubbins, which came off 58 balls and included 10 fours and 6 sixes. He was ably backed up by Ryan Higgins with 40. The wickets were shared amongst the bowlers with James Fuller the pick, taking 2-19 off 4 overs!
