Ladies' Day at Lord's - Sunday 24 July

over 7 years ago | Uncategorised

On Sunday 24 July Middlesex County Cricket Club will once again be hosting their annual Ladies’ Day at Lord’s event in association with Bibendum-PLB.

Entry into Lord’s is free for all ladies on the day, as Middlesex play host to the Kent Spitfires at the Home of Cricket in the Royal London One-Day Cup.

Ladies and their accompanying partner guests are invited for a glass of complimentary champagne* at the top of the Mound Stand at 12 noon, courtesy of Bibendum-PLB, where they can relax and enjoy the cricket from one of the best views that Lord’s has to offer.

Anyone wishing to attend the champagne reception must adhere to a smart dress code of gentlemen in jackets and ties, with ladies encouraged to wear hats or fascinators.

The ‘Best Hat’ competition is a hugely popular focal point of the day, so all ladies are encouraged to come along to Lord’s wearing your finest millinery creations, with Middlesex awarding bottles of champagne to the competition winners.

After the champagne reception you are welcome to spend the remainder of the afternoon watching the game from the top of the Mound Stand, where bars will be available serving food and drinks all day.

Ladies will also have the opportunity to take advantage of a range of beauty treatments available from a team of qualified beauticians, offering mini manicures, mini pedicures and reflexology sessions.

Treatments are available from 11.00am until 5.30pm and anyone wishing to book an appointment in advance can do so by emailing [email protected].

Bookings can be made on the day, however booking in advance is recommended and all treatments before midday must be booked in advance in order to gain access to the Mound Stand.

A percentage of all proceeds taken by the beauticians will be donated to Middlesex’s long standing charity partner, Shooting Star Chase.

Ladies’ Day is set to be a fantastic and enjoyable cricketing experience for gents and ladies alike, so come along and enjoy all the fun of Ladies’ Day at Lord’s.

*only one glass of champagne per person, served at 12 noon and subject to availability.
