Middlesex get their 2016 Royal London One-Day Cup campaign underway tomorrow at Radlett Cricket Club's Brunton Memorial Ground in another clash with Hampshire, having already convincingly beaten their visitors from the south coast in both the NatWest T20 Blast and Specsavers County Championship in the last ten days.
Tomorrow's match, starting at Cobden Hill at 11am, sees Middlesex one-day Captain James Franklin able to select from a full-strength squad, with Brendon McCullum set to make his 50 over debut for the Seaxes, filling Middlesex's one overseas slot.
Middlesex have high hopes of impressing in both white ball formats this year, and with the side that Franklin has at his disposal, he'll be confident of reversing his side's form in recent years and successfully progressing into the knockout stages at the very least.
With overseas players of the calibre of McCullum, Adam Voges and George Bailey all available to Franklin at various times in this year's campaign, plus Mitchell McClenaghan, should he be required, all adding to the quality that already exists within the squad, there's a genuine feeling that this could be the season when Middlesex's fortunes change.
Hampshire come to Radlett on the back of a defeat in their own opening Royal London One-Day Cup encounter, after they lost to Essex on Sunday by three wickets.
Despite Adam Wheater and Tom Alsop breaking Hampshire's List-A second wicket partnership record as they put on 169 together, Essex chased down the victory target of 311 for the loss of seven wickets with three balls to spare at the Ageas Bowl.
With fixtures coming thick and fast, the Middlesex squad will have little time to reflect on Tuesday's game, as they'll be travelling down to Bristol after finishing on Tuesday for their first away fixture of the campaign to take on Gloucestershire.
Middlesex are pleased to announce the following 14-man squad to play against Hampshire at Radlett tomorrow, Tuesday 7 June:
James Franklin (c), James Fuller, Nick Gubbins, Tom Helm, Ryan Higgins, Dawid Malan, Brendon McCullum, Eoin Morgan, Tim Murtagh, Ravi Patel, Ollie Rayner, Toby Roland-Jones, John Simpson, Paul Stirling.
Tickets cost £20 for adults, £10 for over 65s and £5 for under 16s.
Gates open at 10am with the match due to start at 11am.
Please remember to bring cash - there are no cash machines at the ground.
