MEMBERS' COMMUNICATION GROUP - FEB 2020 MEETING NOTES

MEMBERS’ COMMUNICATION GROUP MEETING - FEBRUARY 2020

Last Thursday the Members’ Communication Group (MCG) gathered at Lord’s for their latest regular meeting, where matters raised by members for discussion with the club were talked through by the group.

The MCG was created by the club last season with the primary aim of improving the flow of information between the club and its members, with meetings taking place every six weeks to discuss topics that had been brought to the attention of the group by other members, and for the club to report back on any matters previously raised by the group.

The group is comprised of six volunteer club members; Andy Biggs, Glen Birkwood, Jeff Coleman, John Clouting, Martin Hadland and Steve Pattington, Middlesex’s Head of Communications Steven Fletcher, and former Middlesex Executive Board member Bob Baxter, with MD of Cricket Angus Fraser and CEO Richard Goatley also present at Thursday’s meeting.

All six members within the group have volunteered their time and have agreed to be available to improve the lines of communication between the group and the membership at large.

After each meeting, the agenda points discussed will be shared on the club’s website within the members’ hub, which can be accessed by all members who have created a free account online. Should anyone wish to find out more about the matters discussed, then the volunteers are happy to be contacted by email (details below).
