That’s why SACRED chose Löfberg as their roasting partner. Löfberg is a Swedish family owned company working at the forefront of sustainability in the coffee industry and is one of the world’s largest importers and roasters of certified coffee. Using the word “sustainability” not only as a lip service, Löfberg has created a material called “Çurface” which is a special material made from waste coffee grounds used for interior surfaces and panels. Coffee tables out of that material are used at some of the SACRED Cafés. Hence the waste is coming back in a different form to the place where it has been produced.
SACRED provide coffee to the Porsche hospitalities and tea is part of the founder’s passion. The English Breakfast tea is grown in SACRED’s very own plantation in Sri Lanka, which has been owned by Tubbs Wanigasekera’s family for over four generations.
