All the match action from day one of the Specsavers County Championship between Middlesex and Lancashire at Lord's. In what were good batting conditions on day one, the visitors took full advantage of winning the toss, putting on a strong batting performance throughout the day, reaching 298-3 at stumps, with Alviro Petersen 105*. James Franklin, Tim Murtagh and Toby Roland-Jones took a wicket each.
