Taking a well earned break from their hectic and intense schedule of winter training, the Middlesex squad found themselves at Radlett Cricket Club with an afternoon off..........or that's what they thought!
Confronted with a brief from Angus Fraser to put their construction skills to good use, the squad donned welly boots, rain jackets and warm gloves, amid the howling wind and heavy rain of storm Barney, swapped bats and balls for spades and wheel barrows, and proceeded to build a fence around the perimeter of the ground.
We popped along to film the work in progress and caught up with MD of Cricket, Angus Fraser, and self-elected site manager, Martyn Fryer, to find out just what it was all about!
