Bad light stopped play shortly after the tea interval and no further play was possible as Middlesex closed on 263-3 with Stirling 61* and Simpson 43*.
Day 2 Tea:
Another good session for the Middlesex batsmen with just three wickets to fall in the afternoon session. Gubbins was the first to go for 68 (ct Batty b Dunn) with the score on 147. Compton was out an over later for 65 (ct Burke b Footitt) and Eskinazi was out early for 8, bowled by Dunn.
