The Middlesex 2s have won the first T20 match against Essex 2s this morning by 30 runs, thanks in the most part to a superb 110 from Nick Gubbins, which came off 58 balls and included 10 fours and 6 sixes. He was ably backed up by Ryan Higgins with 40. The wickets were shared amongst the bowlers with James Fuller the pick, taking 2-19 off 4 overs!

The Middlesex 2nd XI are in action again today in two T20 matches against Essex 2s at Radlett. The first match is due to get underway at 10.30am. Essex won the toss and have elected to field first.
