Close - Hampshire declared on 300/7 and drew proceedings to a close as the teams shook hands. A draw was inevitable after two days of rain, but there was still time for an outstanding bowling performance from Harry Podmore today, who took 5-51 from 24 overs.
Tea - Hampshire reached 182/4 after a solid partnership between Organ and West helped the visitors rebuild after Middlesex took four early wickets in this morning's session. Since Tea Harry Podmore has struck twice in the space of 6 balls to swing things back in Middlesex's favour.
Lunch - Hampshire are 127/4 at Lunch with Podmore (2), Duke and Douglas taking wickets. Good to finally get some cricket played after the first two days of the game were washed out due to bad weather.
