All the match action from Middlesex's 17 runs win over Essex Eagles at Chelmsford in the NatWest T20 Blast. Middlesex made a great start with the bat in the powerplay overs but some tight bowling by the Essex bowlers and wickets falling regularly saw Middlesex struggle before a good finish by Eoin Morgan (59*) saw them to 173-8. Middlesex's bowlers rose to the challenge, despite an impressive innings from Ryan ten Doeschate (58*), and took wickets regularly, including 4-33 for Mitchell McClenaghan in his first outing for the club this season, which saw Essex fall 17 runs short.
