Middlesex Cricket’s Participation Team, Lord’s office staff, and the County Champion players themselves are today joining members and players of Pinner Cricket Club for our latest NatWest CricketForce showcase.
This year, we are also being joined by staff at the ECB, as they have made it their own staff showcase, too. As ever, there’s a huge amount to be done with the whole ground being renovated – both inside and out! Pinner CC CricketForce Project Manager, Dan Langan said,
“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone in joining our army of volunteers to the biggest overhaul of our facilities since the 60s. The donations and support from local business has been amazing and shows what a fantastic relationship we have with the local community.
This event shows our intent as a club to, not only grow from a cricket perspective, but to also enhance our reputation across the wider area.”
Clubs from all over the county are once again registered for NatWest CricketForce this year – the ECB’s nationwide initiative designed to bring clubs and local communities closer together, and ensure grounds and facilities are ready for the new season.
CricketForce is held over one designated weekend each year as clubs work to prepare for the upcoming season. Projects range from simple paint jobs, sight screen scrubbing and renewed boundary fencing, to brand new changing rooms, function rooms and even a new pavilion.
Register your club here (https://nwcf.ecb.co.uk/CFTheme/NoPublicPermission.aspx) to get involved.
