Middlesex Cricket can confirm today that Harry Podmore will join Glamorgan County Cricket Club on loan for the start of the 2017 season.
Podmore will be available for the Cardiff based side immediately, and has been named in Glamorgan’s squad to play away at Northamptonshire in the County Championship tomorrow. Harry could well find himself lining up against fellow Middlesex teammate Max Holden, who is on loan at Northampton, and has been named in their squad to play against Glamorgan.
Angus Fraser, Middlesex Cricket’s Managing Director of Cricket, commented…
"Harry has made great progress in the last couple of years and has highlighted what he can do at first-class level. The experience he can gain from playing first-class cricket is invaluable so when Glamorgan asked whether we had a bowler to loan, allowing them to have Harry was an easy decision.
“As with James Harris we reserve the right to call Harry back should injury or form dictate.”
