Congratulations to Middlesex Cricket's Second Eleven, who have qualified for the Second Eleven Trophy semi-finals, when they'll face current title holders Lancashire in Blackpool.
Somerset, who lost to Lancashire in last year’s final at Emirates Old Trafford, will be at home to Yorkshire in the other semi final.
Both semi-finals will be played next Friday (June 2), with the final the following Thursday (June 8), at a venue to be confirmed.
Middlesex came through a closely fought South Group, winning four games, losing just one, and one finishing as a no-result, to grab the semi-final spot ahead of both Essex and Sussex by a solitary point.
They'll be taking on a Lancashire side who have shown remarkable consistency in the competition, having reached seven of the last eight finals, and are aiming for a fourth Trophy in the last six years.
They were unbeaten in the North Group, winning five of their matches with no result possible in the sixth.
Yorkshire were also unbeaten, but three of their six games were no results.
