Middlesex Cricket is delighted to unveil Lexus Edgware Road as the club’s new official vehicle supplier, in a partnership that will see Middlesex players and staff driving the new range of luxury Lexus hybrid vehicles from this season and beyond.
Having returned from a pre-season tour in South Africa yesterday, several of the Middlesex players wasted no time in heading straight to Lexus’s Edgware Road showroom to collect their new vehicles.
The majority of the players will be driving the brand-new Lexus NX300h F Sport model, which offers them plenty of comfort and luxury, combined with high performance and hybrid efficiency, whilst other models being driven include the is300h F Sport and the CT200h F Sport.
Rob Lynch, Middlesex’s Commercial Director said…
“We are absolutely delighted to partner with Lexus as our official vehicle supplier for the next three years. The parallels with Lexus’s brand values and our own fit perfectly.
“Lexus have been involved as a partner of the club for a number of years now, and for that partnership to evolve naturally to the point where they are now our official vehicle partner is real testament to how well our two organisations work together.
“Our thanks goes to all at Lexus for their continued and invaluable support.”
James Harris, Middlesex pace bowler added…
“All of us in the Middlesex squad are really excited to be driving the new Lexus range.
“Over the course of a season we clock up plenty of miles on the road, so to do so in complete comfort and style will make a massive difference to all of us.”
Di McKinnon, General Manager of Lexus Edgware Road commented…
“We first came into contact with Middlesex Cricket in 2013 when we were introduced to the senior team after being involved in another cricketing event. We went onto partner the club in 2014 and are about to enter our fifth season in partnership.
“To say it was the best business decision I ever made would be an understatement.
“In 2014 we supported the club’s Cricket Academy, its annual volunteer awards programme - the OSCAs, and the London primary schools’ cricket competition final.
“We have sponsored the club’s children’s activity area Pinky’s Pavilion since its launch in 2016 and this year our partnership has extended even further, and we delighted to become the club’s official vehicle supplier.
“Watching over 20 Middlesex cricketers and staff drive off in a variety of cars across the Lexus range was a fantastic moment for us at Lexus Edgware Road.”
