Earlier this week, England ODI Captain & Middlesex star Eoin Morgan paid a surprise visit to Grafton Primary School in Islington. Eoin was there to host the launch 2 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 Chance to Shine schools programme’s – the ‘Welcome to Our Area’ & ‘Playground Pundits’ projects.
During the day, Eoin was able to sit down with a Year 5 class, where he engaged with the children in a classroom session promoting the ‘Welcome to Our Area’ project.
Eoin was also able to spend some time outside in the playground, where the children showed off their cricketing prowess as part of the ‘Playground Pundits’ programme. The kids duly put Eoin through his paces, as they attempted to catch and bowl out the England Skipper.
Grafton Primary was also left with a parting gift from Eoin, who donated a signed shirt to the school.
