Middlesex Cricket would like to pass on our thanks to registered charity, Walking With The Wounded, and especially to Duncan Slater, who this week spent the day with members of the Middlesex Elite Player Group in Finchley.
After a morning spent clearing the Finchley streets of litter, as part of Walking With The Wounded's 'Litter Force' campaign, Duncan then spent over an hour giving an inspiring talk to the young cricketers about all the challenges he has overcome in his life, following the loss of both limbs as a result of an exploding IED whilst on military service in Afghanistan.
