This afternoon the ECB have announced that a number of England’s ICC Cricket World Cup winning squad have been made available for forthcoming Vitality Blast fixtures.
Middlesex have been informed that Eoin Morgan, England’s World Cup winning Captain, will be rested until the 1st August, which will see him miss out on Middlesex’s Vitality Blast matches against Essex (at Lord’s), Surrey ( at the Oval), Gloucestershire (at Cheltenham) & Glamorgan (at Sophia Gardens).
England World Cup squad availability as follows…
Eoin Morgan (Middlesex)
England captain Eoin Morgan has been given a break after winning the ICC Cricket World Cup.
He will be available to Middlesex against Kent Spitfires in the Vitality Blast on Thursday, August 1.
Moeen Ali (Worcestershire Rapids)
Moeen Ali will be available for Worcestershire Rapids Vitality Blast matches against Notts Outlaws on Thursday, July 18 at Trent Bridge and Birmingham Bears at Blackfinch New Road on Friday July 19.
Tom Curran and Liam Plunkett (Surrey)
Liam Plunkett will be available for Surrey’s match against Middlesex in the Vitality Blast on Tuesday, July 23 at the Kia Oval.
Tom Curran is available to play against Essex in the Vitality Blast on Friday, July 19 at Chelmsford.
Liam Dawson and James Vince (Hampshire)
Liam Dawson and James Vince are both available to Hampshire, starting with their Vitality Blast fixture against Sussex Sharks at the Ageas Bowl on Friday, July 19.
Adil Rashid (Yorkshire Vikings)
Adil Rashid requires some rest and rehabilitation on his right shoulder. If he is fit, he will be available to Yorkshire Vikings in their Vitality Blast match against Lancashire Lightning on Thursday, July 25 at Emerald Headingley.
