LORD'S CRICKET GROUND REDEVELOPMENT - LATEST NEWS

LATEST NEWS REGARDING THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPTON AND EDRICH STANDS AT LORD'S

Work will commence on site at Lord's next week to redevelop the Compton and Edrich stands.

This will inevitably cause some disruption to spectators attending Middlesex's remaining two Specsavers County Championship matches against Durham, between 10th and 13th September and against Derbyshire, between 23rd and 26th September.

The redevelopment project will be undertaken over two winters, with the new stands available on a seating-only basis in the summer of 2020 and all facilities fitted out the following winter in readiness for the 2021 season.

Access into and around Lord’s over the course of the next month will be affected...

• General access to the Ground will be via the Grace Gate ONLY.
• Hoardings will be erected behind the Grand and Mound stands and the access route to the eastern side of the Ground past those points will be closed.
• Access will likewise be restricted from the eastern side of the Ground, meaning that the North Gate will provide access to the M.C.C. Cricket Academy and ECB offices ONLY.
• The main Lord’s shop will be unavailable – instead a temporary shop will be erected next to the Grace Gate. Scorecards will be available from this temporary unit.
• Parking at Lord’s, whilst already extremely limited, will be further restricted. Enquiries relating to parking should be directed to the Club Facilities Office ([email protected] or 020 7616 8650).

Further information will be communicated in due course and should Middlesex secure a home quarter final in the Vitality Blast, further arrangements will be communicated at the time.
