LACE TO MISS REMAINDER OF THE SEASON IWTH BROKEN FINGER
Tom Lace will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a broken finger in the field whilst playing on loan for Derbyshire against Gloucestershire on Wednesday.
Lace was struck by a pull-shot from James Bracey and immediately left the field to be further assessed at hospital.
He has since undergone successful surgery, but has been ruled out of the rest of the 2019 campaign.
The 21-year-old has scored 780 runs at an average of 43.33 in this year's Specsavers County Championship.
Everyone at Middlesex Cricket wishes Tom a very speedy recovery.
