We are delighted to inform all members that renewals are now being taken for the 2020 season!
With more cricket at Lord's to look forward to in 2020, more weekend Championship cricket to look forward to in 2020 and a new chapter in the club's history starting under the leadership of Australia's Peter Handscomb, it certainly promises to be an exciting summer of cricket ahead.
Members will be pleased to hear that membership rates have been frozen for the 2020 season and remain at the same rate as they were back in 2016 - unchanged in five seasons!
For the first time ever, all renewing members will now have the chance to renew their membership and spread the annual cost across the entire year by paying by monthly direct debit. With membership rates being held for 2020, your annual charge will simply be split equally across twelve monthly instalments, from January to December.
Existing members have until the 19th January to switch over to the new monthly direct debit scheme. If setting up your direct debit in December, your first payment will be taken in early January. If you renew in January prior to the 19th January deadline, your first payment will be taken as soon as your mandate has been approved (3-4 working days), with all remaining payments being taken on the 1st of the month thereafter through to December inclusive.
All members who have provided the club with a valid email address should have received an activation email yesterday, advising them to login to the online portal and create an account, where they will be able to set up their new monthly direct debit to renew and pay monthly.
Any members who have not received an email from the club should call the Middlesex office on 0207 289 1300 and press option 2 to speak to our membership department.
Members who pay for their membership via annual direct debits need take no further action to renew – your renewal payment will continue to be debited from your account in early February.
Members can still renew over the phone, by simply calling 0207 289 1300 and selecting option 2, although we are unable to switch anyone onto the monthly direct debit scheme over the phone, this process can only be done by the member themselves online.
Members will also be interested to hear that from next week the Middlesex Annual Review mailing will be hitting members’ door mats, in which there will be a full run down of the 2019 season, packed full of interesting articles and information, plus further instructions on how members can join the direct debit scheme or renew via other means.
