JACK DAVIES SIGNS TWO YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION
Middlesex Cricket can today announce that Jack Davies has signed a two-year contract extension with the club.
Davies will remain a Middlesex player until at least the end of the 2022 season.
Wicket-keeper batsman Davies, 20, has been at the club since joining from Berkshire, when he became part of the club’s Academy at the age of sixteen.
He made his Second Eleven debut the following summer, aged just seventeen, and last week made his First Eleven debut in Middlesex’s Bob Willis Trophy clash at Canterbury.
On Davies signing his contract extension, Stuart Law, Middlesex’s Head Coach, commented:
“It’s great to be able to extend Jack’s contract with us – a great young man with a promising future.
“I look forward to challenging him to become the best player and person possible.”
Davies himself said:
“I am delighted to commit to the club for the next two years.
“I’m really enjoying working with Stuart and the rest of the current coaches, We’ve got a nice mix of youth and experience in the squad and I really feel that we are a club moving in the right direction.
““I was pleased to make my first eleven debut against Kent last week, and am looking forward to earning more opportunities to establish myself and contribute towards first eleven success.”
