Following their recent 98 run win against Essex, Middlesex Women take to the field again tomorrow, looking to continue their fine 50 over form against a buoyant Surrey side.
Middlesex will be on the lookout for a win that will leave a London Championship shootout between themselves and Kent next week, however should they not overcome Surrey tomorrow then the inaugural Women's county 50-over trophy will be heading south of the river.
With a busy post-lockdown schedule, there are a number of changes to the squad that beat Essex a week and a half ago. with Natasha Miles returning after injury, although both Gayatri Gole and Sonali Patel both miss out on this occasion. Anisha Dissanayake has been called up to the Middlesex Women’s match day squad for the first time, and Lucy Porter keeps her place after performing well in the previous match.
The game will be played at Guildford CC and thanks to Surrey, will be live streamed for spectators to enjoy. Details of how to watch the game can be found at the time of the toss on Middlesex Women’s Twitter channel (@MiddxCCCWomen) and it can be viewed on Middlesex's website. The action gets underway at 11am tomorrow!
In a change to the previously announced schedule, the final game of the London Championship, which sees Middlesex playing hosts to Kent, will be played on Wednesday 19th August.
There's nothing like a London derby to heighten the excitement, and Middlesex Women will be fired up and doing all they can tomorrow to secure that crucial win which will take the competition down to it’s final day and keep Middlesex in the hunt for silverware.
