Today sees the unveiling of the new Sunrisers website, your one stop shop for all you need to know about the new London and East Elite Women’s Cricket team.
The Sunrisers website features all the fixtures and all the results as and when they happen, all the latest Sunrisers news, details of the Sunrisers squad, with player profile videos of each and every one of the Sunrisers playing group.
With Sunrisers three retained professional players already unveiled, in Amara Carr, Naomi Dattani and Cordelia Griffith, the remainder of the squad will be announced in the coming week, ahead of the new Women’s Elite competition, the Rachel Heyhoe Flint Trophy, kicking off at the end of the month.
With Sunrisers pitched in a group against the Southern Stars, the Western Storm, the Southern Vipers, it’s sure to be hotly contested South Group, and the Sunrisers campaign gets underway on 29th August against the Southern Vipers at the Cloudfm County Ground in Chelmsford.
On the launch of the new Sunrisers website, Regional Director of Women’s Cricket, Danni Warren commented:
“Since we unveiled the Sunrisers brand, just a short while ago, a huge amount of work has been going on behind the scenes, not only in us selecting our squad for the forthcoming Rachel Heyhoe Flint Trophy competition and now all training together, but off the field too, and the launch of our new website and social channels is testament to this.
