TOM LACE LEAVES MIDDLESEX CRICKET
Middlesex Cricket have agreed to release Tom Lace from his contract, and the batsman will join Gloucestershire CCC with immediate effect.
Angus Fraser, Managing Director of Cricket said: “We are sorry to see Tom leave. He is a fine young man with a bright future in the game. When Tom extended his contract, it was on the mutual understanding that if, for whatever reason, he was not playing regular first eleven cricket he would be entitled to seek opportunities elsewhere. Everyone at Middlesex Cricket wishes him well for the future.”
Lace said: “I will always be grateful to the Middlesex coaches and players for their support and guidance over the years and I wish the county every success in the future.”
