Earlier this week, Middlesex seamer Tom Helm jetted off to Abu Dhabi, where he will feature in the 2021 Abu Dhabi T10 league alongside a host of the game’s biggest names.
Helm will represent Team Abu Dhabi, in the ten-day long tournament, which begins on January 28th and concludes on 6th February – all played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, where Helm last played for Middlesex in March 2017, in the Champion County clash against MCC following Middlesex’s County Championship success in 2016.
Helm will line up alongside Chris Gayle for Team Abu Dhabi and is set to face some huge names, with the likes of Shahid Afridi, Sunil Narine, Shoaib Malik, Thisara Perera, Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo all named as some of the marquee players set to star in the tournament.
Team Abu Dhabi are pitched in group two of the tournament and will go head-to-head with Deccan Gladiators on 29th January, Qalanders on 30th January and Pune Devils on 31st January, before entering stage two of the tournament from 1st February, leading into the play-offs on 4th and 5th February and then the Grand Final on 6th February.
