DAY THREE MATCH ACTION FROM THE AGEAS BOWL
All the match action from day three at the Ageas Bowl where Middlesex dug deep and restored some pride in their quest to recover from a Hampshire dominated second day.
With Hampshire declaring on 290/4 in their second innings, Middlesex were left with five and a half sessions to bat out the game, trailing by 530 runs.
We successfully negotiated two and a half of those, to finish the third day on 208 for 4, with a solid 67 from Nick Gubbins and a brilliant unbeaten 73 from Robbie White, both under great pressure.
Middlesex will be looking to continue their survival quest at the crease on the final day, with White just 27 away from his maiden first-class hundred.
