Outdoor training sessions are not too far away and to help you prepare for these, the MCoA has organised an exciting coaching event.
The event will take place at the Middlesex Indoor Cricket School, Finchley on Saturday 2 April from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
This practical training day is aimed at those coaching in clubs and those who want to develop further their coaching skills and perhaps move up to the next level, and fits in between the end of indoor programmes and the start of outdoor sessions.
The event will be delivered by Mark Lane (the new Head of Youth Cricket) and two of the Middlesex skills leads (Dan Housego and Marc Broom). They will run sessions to remind you of the coaching points and drills in three skills areas and, then, look at player development and talent ID, and using this as a tool to develop coaching programmes.
