The Club is today delighted to unveil our three new Nike playing kits for the coming season, with all three domestic competition kits taking on a whole new vibrant look and feel for 2022.
All three kits, in various degrees, feature the iconic chevron which first featured on Middlesex playing shirts back in the 1990’s when coloured clothing was first introduced to the English domestic game and is still carried on the v-neck cable knit sweaters worn by the players today.
The new LV= Insurance County Championship kit, launched under the banner of “a classic reimagined” is traditional in colour, yet features a bold blue and pink chevron on the front as a firm nod to the Club’s modern-day heritage.
The Royal London One-Day Cup shirt remains in the Club’s traditional blue colour yet features the classic chevron in two different tones of pink and blue throughout its design, to create a bold and striking look for this year.
And finally, whilst the main body of the new look Vitality Blast playing shirt is in the Club’s classic pink tone, the shoulders and arms of the new design feature contrasting navy blue chevrons with the Club’s name proudly displayed within the chevrons.
