Middlesex Cricket has today launched a new look for its youth membership categories with the unveiling of three new dedicated youth sections on the Club’s website, to further engage its growing army of young cricket fans – the Minis & Tots Members' Fun Zone, the Junior Members' Clubhouse and the Teen Members’ Pavilion.
Earlier this year Middlesex announced a restructuring of its youth membership categories, offering FREE OF CHARGE membership to all young fans aged under 9, with the launch of two new categories of membership, Middlesex Tots for 0-4 year olds, and Middlesex Minis for 5 to 8 year olds.
Young fans aged 9 to 12 can join for just £20 for the entire year as Middlesex Juniors, whilst those aged between 13 and 17 can join as Middlesex Teens for just £30 for the year.
Each membership category comes with an array of fantastic benefits, tailored specifically to each age group and all categories also now have a dedicated section on the Middlesex website, where young fans can watch exclusive player content, enjoy a host of fun games, competitions, quizzes, and plenty more besides, offering them chances to win prizes, with new content added to the sections each and every month.
All young members will also receive a dedicated monthly email from the Club, tailored to their membership category, with new monthly competitions and new content delivered right to them at home.
With Middlesex making an unbeaten start to the County Championship this season, and international world stars in action in the form of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and England’s white-ball skipper Eoin Morgan taking to the field, this season really does promise to be an exciting one as a follower of Middlesex.
There’s never been a better time for youth members to join, and they can do so easily online, via the dedicated sections on the Club’s website, or via the links below, and new members will start to enjoy all the benefits of their youth membership category right away.
Speaking of the launch of the new youth membership categories and dedicated web sections, Marilyn Smith, Chair of Middlesex’s Membership Committee, said:
“We are really excited to be launching these new website areas for our younger members, who can now engage with the club online with content that has been tailored for them.
“Our youth members are the next generation of Middlesex fans, and looking around the game, we felt that the online offering for young members was lacking, especially when compared to other sports, so we wanted to ensure that our young fans could engage with the Club in new and different ways.
“We have seen significant growth in the volume of young members joining the Club, so the launch of these sections on the website was really important to help them feel part of the Middesex family.
“With new content coming their way every month, all year round, we are hopeful that this new offering will further help provide close links between the Club and its younger members.”
