SQUAD & PREVIEW | MIDDLESEX V GLAMORGAN | VITALITY BLAST

MIDDLESEX NAME SQUAD OF THIRTEEN TO FACE GLAMORGAN AT RADLETT TOMORROW IN THE VITALITY BLAST

After last night's victory over Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl, Middlesex head back to Radlett tomorrow, the scene of Thursday's brilliant victory over Gloucestershire, where they'll take on Glamorgan in round three of the competition.

First Team Coach Richard Johnson has named a squad of thirteen for the clash, which if Middlesex win, would secure them their best start to a T20 campaign since 2008, the year they went on to lift the trophy at the Rose Bowl on Finals Day.

A brilliant battling performance last night saw Johnson's side fight hard to maintain their unbeaten start to the season, as batting first, they fought back from the loss of early wickets to post a match winning total of 163 for 6 in their 20 overs.

In reply, tight bowling and timely wickets kept any Hampshire onslaught at bay, as the host fell short in their chase of the target.

There were standout performances last night from young Jack Davies with the bat (47), John Simpson (41), Max Holden (40), Luke Hollman (3 for 34) and Toby Roland-Jones (2 for 19), as everyone stuck up their hands to contribute towards what was a fantastic team performance.

Middlesex rested Eoin Morgan last night, however the England white-ball Captain returns to the squad for tomorrow's encounter, with Josh De Caires making way and stepping aside. Morgan looked in fine touch on Thursday in the win against Gloucestershire, and his return will be a big boost to Middlesex's hopes of another victory.

Also stepping into the squad, having arrived in London today having flown straight from the Indian Premier League, is the Club's overseas left-arm quick signing, Australian Jason Behrendorff, and he slots straight into the squad, replacing Toby Greatwood who steps aside.

Middlesex are flying right now and the mood in the camp is upbeat, and with the addition of Morgan and Behrendorff to the squad, there is plenty of reason to believe that Middlesex's terrific start to the campaign can continue against Glamorgan tomorrow.

Tomorrow's visitors head to Radlett having played two matches themselves in this year's campaign, winning one against Sussex in their opener and losing their latest outing against Surrey.

At this early stage of the competition, Middlesex currently sit in pole position in the South Group, on four points, and Glamorgan in fifth on two points, and Middlesex will be hoping for a repeat of last year's performance against the Welshman at Radlett to further strengthen their position as early group leaders, when they won by a margin of seven wickets, with Stephen Eskinazi smashing 91 off 56 balls.

Middlesex's thirteen man squad for tomorrow's clash is as follows:
