SECOND ELEVEN T20 FINALS DAY - UPDATE

MIDDLESEX TO FACE GLAMORGAN IN SECOND ELEVEN T20 SEMI-FINAL AT ARUNDEL FINALS DAY TOMORROW

The England and Wales Cricket Board have confirmed the line-up and schedule for the Second Eleven T20 Finals Day tomorrow, being played at Arundel Castle.

In a late change to the Finals Day line-up, Sussex Second Eleven will no longer be appearing at Arundel, despite winning the South Group which Middlesex finished runners-up in. An issue around player ineligibility is rumoured to be the cause of Sussex's omission from Finals Day.

The net result of this late switch is that Middlesex claim the South Group winners spot and qualify as the competition's second best placed group winners, whilst Sussex's withdrawal benefits Nottinghamshire Seconds, who now qualify as the best runners-up.

The draw has been made and Middlesex will face Glamorgan in the second semi-final, who finished as the competition's third best placed group winners, whilst Nottinghamshire Seconds will face Leicestershire Seconds in the opening semi-final tomorrow.

Scheduled timings are as follows:

First semi-final 10:30-13:15 Leicestershire v Nottinghamshire

Second semi-final 13:45-16:30 Middlesex v Glamorgan

Final 17:00-19:45

Ticket Information:

Gates to Arundel Castle open at 9am on the day and tickets are available from Arundel Castle CC priced at £15 per person (including parking). Tickets are available in advance by emailing [email protected] or can also be purchased on the day at the same price.

We hope to see as many spectators at Arundel as possible to cheer Middlesex on and hopefully witness the Men's Second Eleven lifting some silverware, following the lead set by Middlesex Women, who were crowed Champions of Group Seven recently in the Women's National T20 County competition.
