Ticket information is available for the ECB Over-50s County Championship final, which will be contested between Middlesex and Essex at Arundel Castle on Sunday 11th September.
Middlesex qualified for the showcase match having defeated Nottinghamshire by seven wickets at Uxbridge last weekend. We also saw off Devon and Yorkshire on the way to the final and had a successful group stage, winning six of our seven matches – only losing out to Essex at Broxbourne Cricket Club.
Naseer Ahmed has been the Club’s top run-scorer in the Championship, having amassed 422 runs in nine matches at an average of 84.40 with five half-centuries.
With the ball, Kamlesh Desai has taken 21 wickets – averaging 14.76, with best figures of 4/25 coming against Hertfordshire at Potters Bar Cricket Club in July.
Wicketkeeper, Matt Rochester has been on fire behind the stumps, taking eight catches and three stumpings.
Essex defeated Staffordshire, Bedfordshire and Gloucestershire respectively in the knockout stages of the competition. This was after they won all seven of their Group Five matches.
For those wishing to attend the match, tickets can be purchased on the day ONLY.
