Earlier today the ECB announced plans to launch the 2023 Vitality Blast competition in spectacular style with Edgbaston set to host Vitality Blast Off on Saturday 20 May - a double header match-day to launch Blast with a bang, featuring hosts Birmingham Bears against Yorkshire Vikings and Derbyshire Falcons up against last season’s finalists Lancashire Lightning.
The announcement of Vitality Blast Off will also raise excitement levels amongst county fans who will be eagerly looking forward to the release of next season's fixture calendar, which the ECB has confirmed will be unveiled Wednesday 30th November 2022.
