Another step in Middlesex Cricket’s pledge to engage closely with the recreational clubs that sit within the county network and their surrounding communities took another significant step forward this week, as a survey was sent to all clubs asking them to take part in an in-depth facilities survey.
Having recently embarked upon the development of its ten-year facilities strategy, this survey intends to engage with clubs across the network, to enable Middlesex Cricket to build a greater understanding of the needs, challenges, and current landscape of existing facilities within the recreational game.
The survey, sent this week, remains open until mid-April, and asks clubs, however big or small, to share their insights with Middlesex Cricket, which will in turn help Middlesex shape their own Facilities Strategy over the coming decade, to allow them to make more insightful decisions on levels of appropriate support, funding, and resource allocation, looking not only at existing facilities, but at environmental, political, and economical factors that impact the clubs and communities in the county.
