This week Middlesex Cricket is delighted to unveil the brand-new Nike playing shirt that the Middlesex squad will be wearing during this summer’s Vitality Blast competition.
It’s been sixteen years since Middlesex first played in pink, back in 2007, after an innovative charity partnership with Breakthrough Breast Cancer, and the Club has proudly played in the colour ever since.
Now, a decade and a half on, pink is immediately recognisable as Middlesex’s colour. This season’s kit design is stripped back to simplicity. In keeping with tradition, pink is dominant across the shirt, paired with Middlesex’s blue chevrons, paying homage to the earlier years of the club’s T20 history.
Alongside the launch of the new T20 playing shirt, Middlesex has unveiled two new items in the Nike Express range, the leisurewear side of the club’s merchandise. The range now sees a new navy Middlesex t-shirt sporting a swoosh and Middlesex and Nike lock up logo, as well as a brand-new navy hoody paying respect to the club’s presence in London since 1864.
