Middlesex finish their Metro Bank One-Day Cup campaign tomorrow when Yorkshire Vikings visit Radlett Cricket Club.
The Seaxes will be looking to bounce back and finish the tournament on a high following the narrow 10-run defeat to Lancashire in the Lord’s sunshine yesterday.
Richard Johnson’s men will be looking for a repeat of last week’s thrashing of Nottinghamshire Outlaws at Radlett, with the same squad named for this one plus the addition of Blake Cullen.
As for the Vikings, they will be looking to get back to winning ways also, having suffered defeat at the hands of Leicestershire at Grace Road on Sunday. They have won two of their seven matches so far and currently sit in sixth place, one spot above us…
For the visitors, Harry Duke is one to watch with the bat – with 170 runs in the tournament to-date. They also have Pakistan international Shan Masood captaining the side. Right-arm seamer, Matthew Revis, is their highest wicket-taker with 10 scalps to his name.
Yorkshire have a number of players in the Hundred, including: Jonny Bairstow (Welsh Fire), Harry Brook, Adam Lyth and Adil Rashid (all Northern Superchargers), Jafer Chohan and Matthew Fisher (both Southern Brave), Dawid Malan and Joe Root (both Trent Rockets), Jordan Thompson (London Spirit).
This will be our 49th List-A match against the Headingley outfit. We have won 20, they have won 23 with five no results.
Tickets are still available to purchase here as we play Yorkshire here for the first time since 2013, where 2,500 packed into the Brunton Memorial Ground.
Don’t forget that there will be a flash sale in the retail tent, with all items being sold for £15 or less including this season’s playing shirts!
If you are unable to join us at Radlett, you can watch all the action live via the Enhanced Live Stream on the match centre on the Middlesex website.
