MATCHDAY INFORMATION | MIDDLESEX V WARWICKSHIRE | COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP AT LORD'S | TUES 19TH TO FRI 22ND SEPTEMBER 2023

This week we take on Warwickshire in our latest LV= Insurance County Championship clash of the season - our last home encounter of the year at the Home of Cricket.

MATCH ADMISSION:

MEMBERS' AREA DRESS CODES A REMINDER:

All members are reminded of the dress codes that apply in Members' areas of the ground...

Pavilion: A formal standard of dress applies in the Pavilion on all match days. For gentlemen, this includes a tailored jacket or blazer with tie or cravat; and for ladies, a smart dress, skirt or trousers with a top or blouse. Footwear appropriate to a formal setting is also applicable.

Members' Friends' Enclosures (Warner, Allen Stands and Middlesex Room): A more relaxed dress code applies to all Members and their guests in Members' Friends' Enclosures on Middlesex match days. Collarless shirts are permitted; however shorts and trousers must still be tailored. Denim is acceptable on these match days. There will be no admittance for anyone wearing dilapidated or offensive garments of any kind. A smart standard of footwear remains in place. Flip-flops and casual trainers (i.e. brightly coloured) are not acceptable.

MCC reserves the right to refuse entry to any person considered unsuitably attired.

MATCH TICKET PRICES:

Days one to three:

  • Adults: £20.00
  • Over 65's £10.00
  • Under 16's: £5

Day four:

  • Adults £5.00
  • Over 65's: £0
  • Under 16's: £0

LATE GATE ADMISSION:

At the start of the tea interval on the first three days of the match, the following prices apply:

  • Adults £10
  • Over 65's £5
  • Under 16's £0

MATCHDAY TIMINGS:

  • Gates open each day at 09.30am
  • Each Day’s play is scheduled to commence at 10.30am
  • The Lunch interval is scheduled to be taken at 12.30pm
  • The Tea interval is scheduled to be taken at 3.10pm, or when 32 overs play are remaining in the day - whichever is later
  • End of play is scheduled for 5.30pm, or when 96 overs have been bowled in the day - whichever is later

STAND INFORMATION...

This week's match will be played on a central wicket, with the following stands open for spectating:

MIDDLESEX MEMBERS' STANDS:

  • Pavilion (+ one Guest)
  • Warner Stand (+ two Guests)
  • Upper Allen Stand (+ 2 Guests)
  • Lower Allen Stand, including Middlesex Room (+ 2 Guests)

PUBLIC STANDS:

  • Mound Stand - Lower Tier
  • Tavern Stand - Lower Tier
  • Tavern Stand - Concourse
  • Edrich Stand – level One (via entry points 2 & 3)
  • Edrich Stand - level Three (via entry points 10 & 11 and Lift 2 and staircase LL)

STANDS OPEN TO VISITING COUNTY MEMBERS:

  • Public Stands as above
  • Warner Stand
  • Pavilion (if correct dress code adhered to - see below for details)

A valid Warwickshire County Cricket Club membership card for the 2023 season will need to be shown to gain entry into these stands.

STANDS CLOSED:

  • Grandstand (all levels)
  • Compton Stand (all levels)

Catering facilities will be available around the ground throughout the match, with details of all outlets available as follows:

MEMBERS' CATERING:

  • Pavilion – Long Room Bar (days 1 to 4)
  • Pavilion - Bowlers’ Bar (days 1 to 4)
  • Pavilion - Members’ Bar (days 1 to 4)
  • Warner Stand - Balcony Bar (days 1 to 4)
  • Allen stand - Middlesex Room (days 1 to 4)
  • Pavilion - Members' Lounge (days 1 and 2 only)
  • Pavilion - Old Library (days 1 and 2 only)

PUBLIC CATERING:

  • Dark's Bar (Mound Stand)
  • Concession Unit by Media Centre
  • Portman's Cafe - Under Warner Stand
  • Tavern Pub

TOILET FACILITIES OPEN:

  • Mound Stand roadway
  • Edrich Ground level
  • Edrich Ground Three
  • Allen Stand roadway
  • Warner Stand ground floor
  • Warner Stand balcony

ACCESSIBILITY:

Assistance Dogs: Spectators who are accompanied by assistance dogs will be admitted to the stand or which they have a ticket. If there is limited space for the dog ta different seat of equivalent quality will be offered, with more space for the dog to rest. Dogs will be offered a blanket to lie on and water bowl (available from the Head Steward’s Office).Audio-Description: Complimentary audio-description earpieces for blind or visually impaired spectators are available from the Head Steward’s Office.

MULTI FAITH REFLECTION ROOMS:

There are two multi-faith reflection rooms located at:

  • Pavilion Basement
  • Edrich Stand, near entrance 1

RETAIL OUTLETS:

Available at each of the following areas and will close 30 mins after the close of play unless otherwise stated:

  • Heyhoe Flint Gate (open until 5.30pm)
  • Members' Shop (Pavilion Walkway - open until 4.30pm)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Wednesday 20th September - Dementia Friendly Day in partnership with dementiacarers.org

We are looking forward to welcoming representatives of Dementia Carers Count to Lord's Cricket Ground, where they will be on hand in Wednesday to give out information on the work they do as a charity and to talk to fellow members and spectators about caring for a loved one with dementia. Also in attendance will be 70 of the charities carers, who will be at Lord's throughout the day to enjoy a day's cricketing entertainment. We would welcome all members and spectators to pop along to the Dementia Carers Count stall, situated at the rear of the Allen Stand, where you will be able to speak to their representatives throughout the day.

Wednesday 20th September (10.30am to 12.30pm) - Sponsored Walk around Lord's by member, Martin Carr, raising funds for 'Middlesex In The Community'
