At the lunch interval of today’s play, Glen Birkwood, Chair of the Seaxe Club, and Peter Jackson, President of Seaxe, presented Middlesex Cricket with a generous donation towards supporting children on the Club’s All Stars Cricket programmes.
They presented a cheque for £4,500, which will be used to offer bursaries to pay for children who would otherwise not be able to, the chance to take part in the All Stars and Dynamos Cricket programmes that Middlesex run across London.
The Seaxe Club has been in existence for over fifty years and continues, even in these difficult times, to support the development and progress of young cricketers across the county of Middlesex.
