This month, Middlesex Cricket hosted four events to thank each person that volunteered their time to help local cricket around the County this summer.
Events were held at Teddington CC, Stanmore CC, North London CC, and Chiswick CC as cricket communities came together to enjoy hospitality, in an informal environment where they could relax and enjoy meeting other volunteers from clubs and communities in their area.
Middlesex Cricket Participation Manager, Sharon Eyers, who organised the event, said: “We are pleased to have had the chance to thank so many of the people who have volunteered their time to help cricket in their area this summer.
The time and effort that so many people put in often goes unnoticed, but they provide the opportunity for thousands of young people and adults to enjoy the game in our County.”
The Club are running some coaching courses over the next few months. Find out more information here. Alternatively, if you are interested in becoming a scorer or Umpire, head to the Middlesex Association of Cricket Officials (Middlesex ACO) website here.
