MATCHDAY SPECTATOR INFORMATION | MIDDLESEX V GLOUCESTERSHIRE | CLOUD COUNTY GROUND, CHELMSFORD | VITALITY BLAST

For all members and fans attending tomorrow night's Vitality Blast clash against Gloucestershire at the Cloud County Ground in Chelmsford, please see below all the ground information you'll need for your visit.

Ground and Access:

Gates open: 5.15pm

Match starts 6.15pm

Middlesex members please have your Membership card ready to scan and use the dedicated Middlesex member entrances at both the Tees River Gate and main gate on New Writtle Street.

Middlesex Members have use of the Doug Insole Pavilion and adjacent Premier Marquee. If you are bringing a guest and have not yet purchased a guest ticket in order for them to access the Middlesex members area, please phone the Essex ticket line 01245 254010 (open from 10am – 4pm). Please note Season Guest passes are NOT valid for T20 fixtures.

For Wheelchair accessible areas, please also ring the Essex ticket line. Members of Middlesex staff will be at both entry points and the Pavilion area, to assist with any queries.

The Cloud County Ground is a cashless venue, including all the concourse kiosks and bar facilities. Cash payments are accepted in the Essex Cricket Store.

Food and Drink:

• Food and drink outlets are open in the following blocks:
  • Members Bar inside the Doug Insole Pavilion, also serving food.
  • Spinner’s Bar is open in Block 15, the Red Area
  • The 152 Bar will be open behind the Doug Insole Pavilion serving alcoholic and soft drinks
  • Anne’s Pantry can be found adjacent to the Spinners bar, with a choice of hot meals including gourmet burgers and chips.
  • We also have the Greedy Vegan serving topped fries and a range of other vegan options.
• Drinking water is available from all bar areas around the ground to refill your reusable bottles.

Meteor Way Car Park is available to book in advance for £2 and can be purchased online via the link below (map attached). It will be open from 4:15pm until 30 mins after the close of play.

Public Transport:

Chelmsford (Greater Anglia) Chelmsford Railway Station is approximately a 10-minute walk from The Cloud County Ground. Regular direct train services depart from Chelmsford to London Liverpool Street and Stratford.

Faith Room:

There is a Faith and Reflection room at The Cloud County Ground. This is available to spectators throughout the match and is located within the Graham Gooch Cricket Centre.

Sensory Room:

The sensory and family room, which includes baby changing facilities, is located at the Tees River Gate end of the ground, please ask your nearest steward if you would like to use this room.

Toilets:

The Members toilets facilities are located at the rear of the Doug Insole Pavilion. Accessible toilets are also available at Doug Insole Pavilion and newly installed fully accessible facilities adjacent to Block 31.

Reporting:

Middlesex and Essex stand against all forms of discrimination and there is no place for it in our sport. We embrace and celebrate differences everywhere, knowing that with diversity, we are stronger. We are dedicated to ‘Raising the Game’. If you witness it, challenge it, call it out.

If you see or experience inappropriate or anti-social behaviour, please alert a steward, or you can report any incidents to the ground authority directly by messaging the word RESPECT, your block number and seat to 60066 with a brief detail of the incident OR alternatively, to report directly to Middlesex, you can send a text or WhatsApp message to 07561 854001 giving details of the incident and location

Safety:

• The Stewarding team are here to help and can offer guidance or directions throughout the day.
• Please note that all spectators will be searched before entering the ground. No alcohol may be brought into The Cloud County Ground for Vitality Blast fixtures and no glassware, metal objects or metal tipped umbrellas are permitted. • If you or any of your party require medical attention during the day, please let your nearest Steward know, or visit the Medical Centre. Please note the Medical Centre is now located next to Block 31 where there an accessible toilet facility is also available.
• On hot days, please remember to stay well covered during the hot weather and to drink plenty of liquids, preferably water.
• Smoking is not permitted at The Cloud County Ground with the exception of the designated smoking areas on the concourse. This also applies to e-cigarette users. Please use the signposted red smoking boxes to extinguish all cigarettes.
• The Cloud County Ground operates a ‘Think 25’ policy for the sale of alcohol. Anyone under the age of 18 drinking alcohol will be challenged and will result in being ejected from the ground.
• It is a ground regulation that spectators are not permitted on the outfield at any time during or after play. Anyone in breach of this may be ejected from the ground and liable for a fine or prosecution. Thank you for your co-operation.
• We ask that spectators do not leave any bags unattended. These may be removed by our Stewarding team.
• For your fellow spectator’s enjoyment, please try to avoid leaving or returning to your seat while play is in progress, especially if bowling from your end of the ground
