MIDDLESEX'S NATIONAL DISABILITY CHAMPIONS TO TAKE ON LORD'S TAVERNERS

HAVING BEEN CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF THE DISABILITY QUEST LEAGUE, MIDDLESEX'S D40 FIRST ELEVEN WILL TAKE ON LORD'S TAVERNERS AT TRING PARK CRICKET CLUB THIS SUNDAY

Middlesex's D40 First Eleven, who went unbeaten throughout the whole of this season and won the Quest League a week and a half ago to be crowned national Disability champions, will take on a Lord's Taverners side at Tring Park Cricket Club on Sunday 4th August.

The annual fixture, which sees the Taverners put out a star studded side against the Quest national champions every year, will see the likes of Rob Andrew, Monty Panesar, Gordon Kennedy and Ben Heyhoe-Flint, to name but a few, take on Middlesex's title winning Disability side in a forty over encounter, starting at 12 noon, with England cricketing legend David Gower also umpiring the match.

The day promises to be a fantastic celebration of disability cricket, with the Middlesex squad being presented with the Quest trophy and individual winners medals on the day.

Any members and supporters wishing to attend the fixture can do so, with admission free for all, so we hope to see some Middlesex faces in the crowd in support of our Disability national champions.
