Middlesex return to 50-over action tomorrow as we take on Oxfordshire in the annual NCCA showcase fixture at Thame Town Cricket Club.
The fixture serves as preparation for our Metro Bank One-Day Cup campaign, which begins on Wednesday against Worcestershire at Vit Worcestershire New Road next Wednesday.
Mark Stoneman will lead the side during the One-Day Cup once again this summer, with Jack Davies keeping wicket, as he has done in the Vitality County Championship and Vitality Blast.
Naavya Sharma, who has been on England Under-19 duty during the recent Youth Test Series against Sri Lanka, is named in the 12.
Our opponents Oxfordshire have been in 50-over action already this summer, having competed in the NCCA One-Day Trophy. So far, they have two wins to their name – having defeated Buckinghamshire and Cornwall.
Opener batter, Jamie Harrison, is the competition’s leading run-scorer with 203 runs to his name so far, with a high-score of 92 against Buckinghamshire. He also notched 90 against Cornwall.
Men’s First Team Coach, Richard Johnson has named a squad of 12 for the fixture, which contains a mixture of players who have featured in either or both the County Championship and T20 Blast competitions.
Oxfordshire have given details about the fixture, which can be found HERE. They will be providing a free live stream for those wishing to watch the match, which will be available on the Middlesex website tomorrow morning.
