MIDDLESEX CRICKET ISSUES STATEMENT IN LIGHT OF CIVIL UNREST IMPACTING THE GAME

MIDDLESEX CRICKET STATEMENT

Everyone at Middlesex Cricket would like to pass on their heartfelt condolences to the grieving families of the three innocent girls murdered and all those affected by the horrific attack in Southport.

Middlesex Cricket are proud to serve its rich diverse communities and value that it contains eight of the most ethnically diverse areas in England and Wales. We are deeply saddened to witness the racially motivated and violent disorder gripping the country. We strongly condemn all forms of hate against any of our communities. Our charitable arm Middlesex in The Community will continue to use cricket as a vehicle to promote social cohesion. We understand that a time like this can raise concerns around safety in the participation of games, and no child or adult should feel unsafe to play cricket and belong to Middlesex Cricket. We will continue to use the power of cricket to unite our communities.

If you are affected or witness any concerns taking place in cricket, please report to:
