Middlesex Cricket can today confirm that the Club has reached an agreement with Derbyshire County Cricket Club that sees Martin Andersson join up with Derbyshire with immediate effect for the remainder of this season on loan.
The Club recently announced that Andersson would leave Middlesex at the end of the season to play for Derbyshire from next year, however this move allows him to join his new county for the rest of 2024.
Andersson however will not be available to play in Derbyshire’s home Vitality County Championship clash against Middlesex at the County Ground starting on Tuesday 17th September, and Middlesex have the right to recall Martin from his loan spell if required.
