MIDDLESEX IN THE COMMUNITY AND CAPITAL KIDS CRICKET ENTER LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP
Middlesex in the Community (MITC) and Capital Kids Cricket (CKC) are delighted to announce they have entered a two-year agreement to deliver free cricket to the children of London.
The partnership is underpinned by Chance to Shine, whose mission is to ‘Inspire young people through Cricket’, and it will see the cricket coaches of CKC deliver cricket to state primary and secondary schools, and at Street Cricket Clubs, in four of the 17 London boroughs MITC are responsible for delivering cricket in - Barnet, Enfield, Hackney and Tower Hamlets.
The programmes will see thousands of state school educated boys and girls have the opportunity to play cricket for the first time. Through these programmes children will be given the chance to not only play cricket, but grow a love for the sport, learn vital life skills, improve wider wellbeing and fulfil their potential.
Commenting on the partnership Angus Fraser, the Managing Director of MITC, said:

"CKC have been helping MITC to successfully deliver Chance to Shine programmes in the county for a number of years, and this agreement further cements the strong and respectful relationship that exists between the two organisations.
"CKC are extremely good at what they do, they know areas of London as well as anybody, and we look forward to working with them for many years to come."

"Capital Kids Cricket has been working with Middlesex Cricket since its establishment in 1989. For over 35 years, both organizations have worked closely to support state schools' cricket and the wider community across London, particularly within Middlesex boroughs. We are thrilled to formalise this partnership with Middlesex in the Community, extending our collaboration until 2026.
