2025 VITALITY BLAST FIXTURES RELEASED FOR MEN'S & WOMEN'S COMPETITIONS

2025 VITALITY BLAST FIXTURES ANNOUNCED FOR BOTH MEN'S AND WOMEN'S COMPETITIONS

All 18 first-class counties will host at least one women’s and men’s Vitality Blast double header next season after the schedule for an historic 2025 domestic T20 summer was revealed today.

In 2025 Middlesex will feature in two home double-headers, one at Lord's, when both the men and the women will take on Sussex on the opening day of the tournament on 29th May, and another at Merchant Taylors' School, three days later, when both the men and women go head to head with Glamorgan.

Middlesex men will again play four home Blast ties at Lord's in 2025, with the remaining three men's Blast matches being played at Merchant Taylors' School, whilst the women will also feature once at Lord's in the Blast, once at Merchant Taylors' School and twice at Radlett Cricket Club.

The 2025 season will be the first time all women’s and men’s county teams will play side by side in the Vitality Blast, the original domestic T20 cricket competition that delivers fast-paced and explosive action in front of passionate and diverse fans across England and Wales.

And while the Vitality Blast men’s competition enters its 22nd year, next season it will be bigger and better than ever before with the women’s teams playing in two Vitality Blast competitions – one contested by the eight counties from Tier One and the second featuring the 10 remaining Tier Two counties (Vitality Blast Women’s League 2), which Middlesex women will compete in.

The Blast-Off weekend (29 May – 1 June) will kick-start the new-look competition with 10 double headers, with Rivals Week also continuing in the men’s competition with the oldest county rivalries taking centre stage.

Vitality Blast Men’s Finals Day will again take place at Edgbaston, on Saturday 13 September, whilst the Women's Blast League 2 Finals Day will take place at Northampton on Saturday 26 July.
