MICHAEL ROSEBERRY JOINS AS MIDDLESEX COMMERCIAL AMBASSADOR

MICHAEL ROSEBERRY JOINS AS MIDDLESEX CRICKET’S COMMERCIAL AMBASSADOR

We are delighted to announce that former Middlesex opening batter, Michael Roseberry, has begun working with the Club in the role of Commercial Ambassador.

Roseberry starred with the bat for Middlesex in the Club’s heyday of the 1980’s and 1990’s, opening the batting under the Club’s most successful Captain, Mike Gatting, playing for over a decade through the Club’s most trophy-laden period.

In a glittering career, in which he scored more than 10,000 first-class runs for Middlesex, Roseberry played a part in helping Middlesex to lift no fewer than six trophies.

Since retiring from the game in 2001, Roseberry has forged a successful career in the business world, operating primarily in the commercial property sector.

In his new role, Roseberry will be working closely with the Club’s partners, sponsors and members, playing an integral role in helping to immerse them into the Middlesex family.

On announcing the appointment of Roseberry, Jon Fish, Middlesex’s Commercial Director commented:

“We are thrilled that Micky has agreed to join the Club as our Commercial Ambassador.

“He cares passionately about the Club and can’t wait to begin working with our partners and sponsors to help them integrate fully into the Middlesex family.

“We’re really looking forward to working closely with him moving forwards.”

Roseberry himself commented:

“I am really proud to be back at Lord’s representing Middlesex Cricket.

“It’s a Club that gave me the best years of my playing career, and when the opportunity arose to work at Lord’s again and help the Club grow and nurture its commercial relationships I jumped at the chance.

“I am very much looking forward to helping the Club to strengthen its commercial relationships and to helping the Club grow.”
