Middlesex Cricket is pleased to announce the Club’s Second Eleven fixtures for the coming 2025 season.
The Second Eleven will be residing at Merchant Taylors’ School, Radlett Cricket Club, Richmond Cricket Club, Uxbridge Cricket Club and Enfield Cricket Club for all home fixtures in 2025, with the season kicking off as early as Tuesday 8th April with a three-day friendly against London rivals Surrey at Merchant Taylors’ School.
This opening red-ball clash is followed by four other three-day friendly ties, from mid-April to mid-May, before the Twos get underway in the Second Eleven T20 competition, kicking off with an away tie against Sussex in Horsham on Tuesday 20th May.
This is the first of ten back-to-back T20 group qualification clashes, five at home and five away, ahead of the Second Eleven T20 Finals Day, which is scheduled to be played on Wednesday 16th June.
After the completion of the T20 qualification stages, attention then turns to the Second Eleven Championship with an opening tie against Glamorgan at Radlett starting on Monday 16th July, with most fixtures taking place in the height of the summer, across June and July, before the Seconds will take on the touring Zimbabwean A team in two white-ball fixtures at Enfield Cricket Club on Monday 28th July and Wednesday 30th July.
The Championship campaign comes to an end with a closing tie against Durham at Chester-le-Street from Monday 1st to Thursday 4th September, ahead of the Second Eleven’s season concluding with one further three-day friendly match against Essex at Billericay between Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th September.
